Foxburg Inn Hotel

We found this boutique hotel completely by chance while driving From New York to Ohio during a blizzard, and it turned out to be the best unexpected stop we would have ever made. The weather had became so bad we were sliding all over the roads, I called the closest hotel I could find. The elder woman Who I spoke with, who I wish I remembered her name, was incredibly kind and reassuring. She informed me they had a room and we could take care of the details once I arrived. Her main concern was getting my family and myself off the road safely. When we arrived, the inn was absolutely beautiful, sitting on the river with stunning views. They had a casual restaurant next-door which was convenient, and a lodge/bar and more formal restaurant on the other side of the inn. It was an entire village!

Absolutely wonderful little inn with a small town feel of helpfulness and courtesy and friendliness. The rooms are immaculate and beautifully done. The riverfront deck is such a treat. I would give it 12/10! Highly recommend.

The Foxburg Inn is a truly unique experience. The location along the Allegheny River and panoramic views can't be overstated. Walking next door for our Valentine's Day dinner at the Allegheny Grill made the stay even more special. It was for us a memorable experience. We will be back in September for my birthday, if not before.

Great room, king size bed , very comfortable. Enjoyed the balcony . Everything was clean , everyone friendly at the hotel and restaurant and winery . We also enjoyed the trail. One suggestion -the free breakfast is cold which is fine but there is nothing for people to drink that don’t like coffee . Would be nice to have some juice or other beverages for them. There are tea bags but no way to heat the water there , just a coffee maker .So warm water for tea or maybe hot chocolate , juice or milk would be great.

The Inn was so cozy and welcoming. The decor is gorgeous and homey with total hygge vibes! ||We loved the complimentary breakfast and enjoyed looking down on the quaint town while sipping our coffee in the breakfast space. ||We had a river view room and saw 4 eagles and kayakers on a 17 degree morning!
