Four Corners Public Bathrooms

I believe in the desert as a place of truth, where all illusions are stripped away by heat and silence. There, a man walks thinking he is in control—of his body, his plans, his dignity. Then his pants betray him. And in that moment, the lie of mastery collapses. To release one’s bowels in the desert is to be humbled by nature and biology at the same time. No witnesses, no bathrooms, no excuses—only consequence. It reminds us that civilization is a thin fabric, easily soiled, and that the human condition is fragile, ridiculous, and deeply equal. In the sand, kings and fools smell the same.

2014 Road trip..Undercooked eggs from Denny's just down the road in Tuba City got me bad. Almost poo'd my trousers but these nasty bathrooms saved the day!

Was really needing to relieve myself and it turns out it was closed. Needless to say, I left there soiled. Would give zero stars if possible.

Closed, I was looking forward to availing myself to the delicious not so vaulty toilets😫

I recommend using the restroom before coming to the four corners monument park. The bathrooms were not clean and I’m not being mean, I just wish I was warned and a bit prepared. Toilet paper was very thin too, always carry your own. If you come use the restrooms bring whips or TP 🧻 I did use the restroom because what am I supposed to do? But yeah, just a fair warning 😀 The doors to the restrooms didn’t lock so there was a notice on the door that said knock before entering 😅 ehh… You gotta do what you gotta do 😅
