My first visit here was on 8/21/24 with my Sister, Michele. We were both off on a weekday so we decided to go downtown to get some coffee and walk at the riverfront. It's located in the Banks Food Hall. The Food Hall was surprisingly empty which was strange. I'm used to seeing it crowded. But then again, we usually would go here on weekends. The worker was nice and friendly. I ordered the Grilled pineapple Latte and my sister ordered the Butter Beer Latte. Both were delicious! 😋 We walked around the riverfront with our drinks, spent quality time and enjoyed the day. I would like to return again and try other drinks to include the food items.
Great coffee shop located in downtown Columbus and very convenient to the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts! Love the White Chocolate Iced Latte, and they offer tons of other flavors and build your own lattes. They also roast their own coffee beans locally. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Small local roaster, they seem more interested in trying to be a Starbucks than a roaster. Almost no coffee grounds or beans in store. Just two or three 12oz bags for about $16. Atmosphere is what you’d expect, very hipster local coffee feel which is fine. It was pretty nice inside. My deal breaker was what they allowed to be written on their chalk board, several times. It would’ve been nice to be able to support a local roaster that just enjoys coffee and not trying to make a political statement. I’m fine with all the “Eff Ice” stuff that was written, I’m fine with all the lgbtq+ stuff all over the shop, but I’ll draw the line at any “free ‘Palestine’” stuff written. I’ll just order something online from a small batch roaster that cares about the coffee and not trying to be relevant
This coffee shop off Broadway is perfect. The atmosphere, being so close to CSU, is very collegiate but at the same time welcoming to any age group. The coffee is excellent and the food fantastic as well.
Great local coffee spot, the storefront may look small but there are a lot of tables inside along with a couch at the very end. They roast their own beans, and drinks are served in paper cups. The espresso, cortado and latte we got were good, asked the barista about the beans they used and he said they use the House Blend. Ended up getting a bag of those beans to try at home, they’re pretty oily but pretty good.
