It took me 3 hours to get out of Winchester was very hungry showed up here winter hot on spot
I had the special of Hot Bacon Blue Charburger with French Fries and a drink . Both tasted great and I would like to come again to try there shakes too. They have a cool decor' with a race car on the ceiling , wood booths and tables , some old school video game machines too .
I’m between 3 and 4 stars. Service was phenomenal. This was our first time here and so the employee behind the cash register helped us fill out our orders. Even changed our dollar bills to get quarters so my son could play at the pac man machine. Let’s get to the hamburgers- they were good. Not a fan of the bread. The meat needed a little bit more seasoning. The shakes were really creamy & delish. I’ll try another location close to home.
Stopped by at Foster’s Grille in Marshall, as we were in the area. Apparently this is only one of few locations in Northern Virginia area. Liked the interior decor and style. Old school retro, with arcade and a car up on display indoors, gave off the Archie’s vibes. I had the Hot Bacon Blue, with a vanilla milkshake. It was decent. Table had onion rings and fries on side, banana shake, another burger, and the Philly Cheese-chicken. I will say, the server people delayed our order. Also they marked fried as to-go order and forgot our onion rings and had to be reminded. All in all, this was good bang for the buck at least, and food was decent and somewhat good. Hopefully I’ll visit another Fosters Grille in the future.
Honestly, I don’t eat at burger places often so this is from a novice perspective. My friends and I ventured here after another restaurant was closed in the area and it’s was okay. Food - My friends got the old fashioned charburger and they both said it was too dry. They seemed to enjoy the fries but personally they were okay. I personally prefer sweet potato fries but they don’t offer them on the menu. I got the chicken sandwich and it was decent. Not epic, but it satisfied my hunger. Overall, I honestly would not go back, but I don’t do burger joints in general. This was a cheat meal. I just wasn’t impressed.
