Fortune Noodle House

My boyfriend and I are were looking for some lunch specials in Renton and mu boyfriend chose Fortune Noodle House out of the options that I had for him. We arrived here and there was only one other table occupied. We were greeted by the cashier/hostess/waitress who let us pick our table and dropped off some menus. I noticed the lunch special menu wasn't included and had to ask the waitress if they were doing a lunch. She brings over the lunch menu and tells me that they only have combo 2 and combo 3 so I went with my combo three while my boyfriend got the Single Dinner combo 2. Our entrees come with a soup which I thought would be a simple soup but we were provided what taste like a Vietnamese soup that came with some noodles, meat, and vegetables. My bun Bo huo was the saddest one I’ve ever gotten in my entire life. Wrong veggies, they gave me pho veggies. and only one type of meat. Brisket. Which is wrong… over $15 for this is unacceptable….

My group of 4 was looking for an Asian restaurant with lots of options, and we found it! We tried a variety of different things, and everything we ordered was superb. We ordered the crab rangoons, sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, yellow curry, pad Thai, and chicken pho. Everything was made to perfection! The staff was very nice, and service was quick. I definitely recommend!!

We wanted to try this place for a long time and finally did. We used to come here many many years ago but I think it changed either management or menu or both. They had several GF items including hot and sour soup, back then. Next time I called a few years later and was told they didn't offer ANY gluten free options. Totally disappointed. Now I see on the menu that they do offer some GF options. We've ordered twice and got Singapore Noodles that were shown as GF on the menu. It was delicious. Lots of fresh veggies with bbq pork, chicken and shrimps. A bit better the 2nd time we ordered as there as a bit more shrimp and bbq pork included. The Chicken Satay was okay. Chicken porridge was delish. Perfect alternative when you’re not wanting pho to feel better. The porridge had alot of flavor. I also had the shrimp fried rice and lumpia/fried egg rolls. Both was good and tasty.
