Fortune Garden

Best Chinese in town, for sure. True mom-and-pop spot with the nicest people and bomb food. My go-to: house special lo mein, General Tso’s chicken, and an egg roll.

I have lived in Lawrenceville for about 8 years. I have never gone to Fortune Garden. I decided to try and was so glad I did. Fortune Garden is a small place and a take out only restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food tasted. The Sesame Chicken, Pan fried Dumplings and Fried Rice was very good . I look forward to going again and trying more options. I am sorry it took so long for me to try Fortune Garden. I also want to say the woman at the front counter was extremely pleasant. Great Customer Service to all the customers that came and went

This is not a dine in restaurant. This is a hole in the wall place and it is a gem! There is one table with four chairs on your left and three "waiting" chairs on your right. No bathroom. I went on a Friday after stopping at two taco places that were closed. I walked in and saw three men who worked construction. I knew immediately the servings would be big. I went on a Friday and ordered my safest go to: chicken with broccoli and white rice. This was during lunch hour and their special includes your choice of white or fried rice PLUS an option of soup OR soda OR egg roll. I chose the wonton soup. The food was so good! The chicken was tender, the broccoli was crisp, the rice nice and fluffy, and the sauce was...perfect. The dish had just the right amount of sauce to mix with the rice. The b

Paid 15 bucks for a large chicken rice soup and an order of chicken teriyaki. I usually go to Best Food in Town and really enjoy their soup but there's super limited parking so I went here instead as it was closer. The soup has no taste to it. Honestly the best way I can describe it is tap water. No salt or anything of flavor, same with the chicken in it. The teriyaki chicken is just ok and that's being nice. The woman at the counter is super friendly but shelling out 15 bucks for this isn't ok. Probably won't go here again.

I needed a Chinese food place since I'm in area , I got the combination General Tso's comes with egg roll and I got fried dumplings . I have to say it was the best one I've had in a long time. Spicy just right spicy, i drank some beer with it to cool it down lol . Hope they keep the food this way and I'll be a repeat customer
