Foot of the Mountain Cafe

Excellent food, service and view! We were delighted with warm enough weather in late November (lunch time) to sit outside on the patio and received prompt and friendly service from Bree. I ordered the open-faced chicken pesto which was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Portion size was very good so I was able to take home leftovers for another meal. My husband had the ham & swiss melt with cheesy grits, also well prepared. Overall great experience and many thanks to Bree for such terrific service!

This is an awesome little diner. The food was absolutely amazing. I loved the Irish burger, such a cool concept for a burger. The service also amazing. And there was that classic small town diner atmosphere. And then the desert, simply outstanding. Specially the honey bun cake, absolutely amazing. And all deserts are handmade by the waitresses and the owners mother.

First time here. The burger was fantastic. The place was clean. Service was great. Price was reasonable. The place was extremely busy when we arrived, but we were seated promptly. They have a patio that helped with seating. People were lined along side of road due to lack of parking.

I thoroughly enjoy eating here,the service is the best I've ever had,the food is plentiful and delicious and the deserts are sinfully good,especially the chocolate cake!

So happy we found this spot and tried it out while we were on a mini vacation. Our hotel was about 15 minutes from here and the drive was scenic and easy. We got 2 different appetizers, burgers and a kids meal and everything was delicious and came out quickly. Service was great and friendly from entering until leaving. We were able to sit outside, it was absolutely beautiful on the patio. Highly recommend if you are traveling and looking for a good place and don't have a clue where to go, Go Here !!
