Food Zoo Chinese & Japanese Restaurant

I stopped by the old sunshine to see what was up. Sounds like the kitchen staff bought the restaurant from the owners of sunshine since no other buyers came forward. Is this accurate idk but that's what I was told. I ordered orange chicken, and house lo mein no veggies. It was all good but felt like it was missing little flavor but isn't far off from the original deal. They are very under staffed. The place was dead compared to when it was under the old ownership. There no more delivery through the restaurant you will have to use big delivery company like grub hub and or door dash etc. The owner and or two workers I dealt with where kind and polite. This is hands down the BEST Chinese food in the area and I've been to a ton of them in Warwick, RI. This one is family owned and the owners are just so kind. Everything always is delivered hot and fresh. I've never gotten anything from here that tasted old or reheated like some other Chinese takeout places nearby.. highly recommend for quick delivery!!

The poke bowl was delicious but like, not sure what I almost broke my tooth on while trying to enjoy my beef and broccoli?? The rice wasn't that great either but I would have been fine with that had there not been a hunk of rock?? In my food.

Absolutely phenomenal food. Tried my first proper Poke Bowl, and Spicy Tuna rolls, and their General Tso's chicken with pork fried rice and crab rangoons. Firstly, the staff was super friendly and while waiting for our food ordering takeout she gave us a honeydew coconut bubble tea to try and it was delicious! The Poke Bowl was fresh, and tasted amazing. The spicy tuna was the same way, (and I thought I didn't like sushi). The General Tso's chicken was tender and ACTUALLY SPICY! Something a lot of Asian restaurants miss out on is the spice and they definitely have it here! Pork fried rice was well cooked and the pork in it was flavorful. Crab rangoons were tasty too! One of my favorite Chinese restaurants!! The dumplings are SO good, much bigger than anywhere around. The restaurant is run by a local family and they are super nice and I have never had a bad experience here. The Pad Thai is amazing and one of my favorites. The sushi/poki bowls are great and the bubble tea is good if you’re looking for something refreshing and sweet. Had the food multiple times and it is just as good every time I go. Everything is good.
