Food Lion

Inside the store is totally fine — clean, organized, and well-stocked every time I’ve been in. The staff does their part and the grocery experience itself is solid. That said, the area around the store and the parking lot is rough. I’ve been approached multiple times by people asking for money, and a couple of them got irritated when I declined. The overall vibe outside is sketchy and makes the trip feel a lot less comfortable than it should. My wife will not go here alone day or night. Great store on the inside, but the surroundings definitely take away from the experience. If they could improve the safety or presence outside, it would go a long way.

"VERY CLEAN", RESPECTFUL EMPLOYEES, EASY TO FIND WHAYI NEED AND WANT. WIDE ILSE. (i use a power chair) But what I love the most is, "THEY DON'T MOVE THEIR PRODUCTS AROUND IN DIFFERENT PLACES. "!!!! EVERYTHING IS JUST WHERE I LEFT IT, (Thank God)WHITCH IS VERY CONVENIENT. I KNOW WHERE EVERYTHING IS. OOOOHH,THEIR MVP,BY1DET1,,,EVERYDAY LOW PRICES, OH,OH,OH, DON'T FORGET THEIR "FOOD LION PRODUCTS 😉!! BY THE TIME I GET TO THE CHECK OUT, FULL BUGGY, (sometimes over loaded) I get excited to see how much I've saved. NOT SAYING ANYTHING DON'T MEAN, I JUST ENJOY SHOPPING AT FOOD LION!!!!! THANKS FOR MAKING MY LITTLE BIT, STREACH A LITTLE BIT FURTHER!!!!!

I just love this store in particular. One of the cleanest. It's always welcoming and safe so far, to shop in the bakery department getting that soft brioche bread and croissants I like! And ALL the employees are polite, respectful, and helpful! They all deserve a pay raise!

So I buy leg quarters and they were $8.90. Get home and start cutting my chicken for dinner and thought to myself that the total was awfully high. Looked at the receipt and it rang up $15.91 for chicken wings. Wow. So I took pictures of the meat I cut, the bag and my receipt. Come on guys. It REALLY needs to get better at this location. Wow. Read your receipts people. Especially at East Winston location.
