Food Corner Kabob House

Super yummy Afghan food and very affordable! I got the kabob combo with steak and chicken for around $20 during lunch, and it was so flavorful and filling. The owner (I think) was the nicest uncle ever — he even gave me free Afghan soup while I waited for my food. The chickpeas and salad on the side were fresh and tasty too. The place itself is clean and cozy, just like the name says — literally a corner restaurant with a warm, welcoming vibe. Also, the owner speaks Spanish fluently which was so cool to see! Definitely coming back!

It was a wonderful moment when we were invited to a welcome lunch at this family-run Afghan restaurant. The welcome was warm, the hospitality excellent, and the smiles constant. The food was delicious, especially the grilled meats, and the restaurant had a charming, old-fashioned atmosphere reminiscent of Afghanistan. If you haven't visited Food Corner you need to. Tasty Kabobs and pastries. Various sides offered. Their combo dishes are out of this world. Mr. Najib the owner and his son greeted us with much love and hospitality. Lamb kabobs, beef kabobs, salmon and tilapia kabobs, chicken kabobs. This place is a must visit!!!

First time come here, Massr is super friendly and kind, you feel like you’re their family members over here. I ordered Lamb chop kabob with Baklava, I think the lamb chop is the best among those kabob restaurants in NOVA. You will like their bread if you like hard food. Parking is kind of hard, I recommend to park in the K mart parking lot. Definitely will come back again!

In a world where customer service is scarce, this place goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed AND appreciated. It’s not fake! It’s not forced, it’s just an amazing positive environment. The food: phenomenal. I’ve frequented the restaurant a few times in the short time I found them and everything I’ve had is SEASONED to perfection. I’ve had the chicken, beef, and lamb kabobs. Whichever meat you prefer to eat, choose that! Cant go wrong with any of their kabobs. I had a dish with meat sauce and rice, and a few different sides. My favorite side are the potatoes. Those potatoes are made with love! Overall, if you’re thinking about trying this place out, go for it!! If you don’t know what to try, just ask them!
