Fonda La Consentida NY

I went there for my birthday and honestly there was good vibes but the dj kept repeating the same songs and I requested new songs but they just kept ignoring us and prioritizing other people and the only time they pleased us with the genre they just putted other songs that were just not it. I just feel like you can treat everyone else the same and not prioritize others just because everyone there were from the same country. Went because I wanted to spend a good time with friends but it wasn't as expected. I'm not hating or anything but you can try an accommodate everyone

Walking in the place it is nice aesthetically, and for some reason i thought it was bigger, they have music which is great if you are going to drink or possibly dance. My friend requested the mexican cosmo but they didnt have the lychee syrup. Then we were seated right next to the stage in which a live performer got on stage later on and was stomping and that was truly annoying so be mindful of that in case you do not want that kind of noise right next to your ear. All three appetizer Ceviches were so yummy. The drinks were ok, I had the berry one, then for the main course I had the grilled skirt steak, but it was not that flavorful and they could have added more chimichurri sauce, it was served over some peppers and potatoes and a sauce, which in my opinion changed the flavor from a grill

Had a great time, Santiago was amazing to us! My partner was looking to having the fried fish but once we arrived we realized it was not on the menu anymore. We ordered the NY strip which had great flavor! Will definitely be back for another date night as it had great music and ambiance. Thank you Santiago for being so amazing!

Angie was super nice and very attentive. The food was really good and we had such a a good time. The ambiance was so relaxed and fun. This was our second time here and we loved it. Even got out pictures taken!

I was invited to a birthday party at La Consentida. The place is nice, the waitresses were nice, the food was good for a party place. Unfortunately the DJ was the biggest disappointment. Although we were the largest if not the only big group there, he wouldn’t play the songs we asked, very unpleasant!
