Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse

I was on vacation and hitting the gym all week. So, I decided to treat myself to a nice lunch. I dropped my dogs off at the groomers and headed downtown to Fogo de Chao. It is less than a 15 min drive from the groomers. This was my first visit, and I was impressed. I was not expecting to have Fogo de Chao in Brooklyn. The restaurant was across the street from LIU, so I was familiar with the area. It was located in Albee Square Mall, and I have not been in the Mall in years, despite graduating from LIU. The atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, perfect for a business, or casual meeting, especially if you enjoy Brazilian cuisine and a vibrant setting. I dined at Fogo De Chao in Brooklyn the day after Valentine’s Day, and the experience was phenomenal. The food was incredible and the ambiance was top-tier — but what truly made the night unforgettable was our waiter, Amil. He went far beyond standard service. His menu and drink suggestions were thoughtful and creative, he offered samples, shared funny stories without ever being intrusive, and made us feel genuinely taken care of. You could tell he was thinking ahead and moving with intention. What makes it even more impressive? He had worked a long Valentine’s shift the day before — likely 16 hours — and still showed up with full energy and a great attitude. Service like that deserves recognition. We’ve visited multiple times for the buffet, which is always amazing, but this was our first time trying the bar menu. The prices are incredibly reasonable, and the food was excellent—especially the burger. On top of that, we received the same outstanding level of service we’re used to from the buffet. Skylar and Hector took great care of us today. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Went there for my birthday celebration for the first time after hearing so many great things from friends, and it truly lived up to the hype. Every dish was amazing, I honestly can’t even remember all the names because I was too busy enjoying the whole experience. The server (the older gentleman) was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful which made the night even better. I’ll definitely be coming back again for my next special occasion

One of the best happy hours in Brooklyn! The staff is very friendly. the place is bright and and very inviting. they give you large portions off the happy hour menu. the food is very fresh. The Brazilian caipiranha was very well made. deliciously sweet! it's definitely worth stopping in there for the happy hour. the bar was packed with the lunch time crew.
