Flying Taco

This place is truly a hidden gem in Tulare! From the moment we walked into Flying Taco, we were welcomed with incredible hospitality from every single staff member -- including the owner. You can genuinely feel the passion and pride they have for what they do, and it shows in every detail. I regret not taking a photo of our food because the presentation alone was stunning. I was just so excited to eat it haha my husband and I did the Sunday brunch and they had everything you could possibly be craving. But even more impressive were the flavors -- absolutely unforgettable. Every bite reflected authentic Mexican roots, from the perfectly seasoned meats and spices to the beautifully plated dishes. Their horchata was refreshing and delicious, and the homemade corn tortillas so sooo amazing! E

Not just a gimmick they have absolutely fantastic food! This is a super fun taco shop. Yes this is a real airplane and you can eat inside and see the cockpit. The plane was originally brought in here on a flatbed trailer. The tacos are delicious. You have to try them all This is an experience. You won’t forget. I highly suggest you visit.

GO NOW!! This is a fun, exciting taco experience. The history, food, staff was better then my expectations! The plane and hanger space are used in a very smart way. Outside there is plenty of covered seating with fans running 💨. Inside the plane the air conditioner is on and let me tell you on a hot day (99 degrees) it was so cool inside. I was very thankful for this. There was a TV and plenty of seating. The staff, a young man & young woman greeted us on arrival and asked if this was our first time. We said yes and he gave us a quick tour of how to order and explained they have a buffet!! You can order at the window from the menu or get the buffet, then sit inside or outside. Took my family of 5 to the Sunday buffet. Found this place via TikTok. Buffet was amazing and included Pisole, Menudo, and fresh made flour and corn Totillas. Food was amazing and was all you can eat. Service was outstanding and friendly. Definitely worth the drive from Porterville and we will be back.

Customer service was great! Burrito was about 6 tacos were tiny and didn't look like the picture on the menu was disappointed by that. Also, very pricey for tacos I believe 5 bucks each
