Flossie's Barbecue

It's rare to find a really good quality BBQ joint outside of the metro areas, but Flossies is that good. Brisket so moist you an cut with the plastic fork, the best sides I have found at ANY BBQ place. The Baked beans were cooked with sausage and were not too sweet, but just right. Both the beans and potato salad were generous portions and really good. Oh, and the sausage great. The entire 2 meat plate and drink came in at a very reasonable $20. Really glad I gave Flossies a try and you will be too, especially if you are a BBQ affecianado.

I sometimes get the feeling that when you walk into a bbq restaurant, you can usually tell how fire its going to be when the decor is basic and minimal. No floor just bare concrete, family or other pictures on the wall. Think Thelma's for those old enough to remember. The service was great! The 2 ladies up front were very helpful. The food. BRISKET DIRTY RICE. Yes, brisket dirty rice, I dont need to say anything more lol. The brisket is definitely present in the dirty rice. The dirty rice is still spicy as it should be, but now has the extra flavor of brisket drippings all over it. The brisket and sausage is so good. Brisket melts in your mouth as it should and has great flavor. Some bark on the brisket so thats a big plus for me. Sausage appears home made and has good spice and bite. Defi

I ordered a combo plate and I'd say it's definitely worth it. It's hard to find a good value nowadays but this is where you go if you're looking to stretch your dollar. I got enough food for two days and it's so delicious. The meats are flavorful and tender. Highly recommend y'all try it out.

Never ate here before but I saw it on Google Maps, and it’s not too far from my house, so I gave it a try. I’m sure as hell glad I did! I ordered online about 5:30PM. Arrived about 6:15, door was locked. We were sitting there thinking about where else we could eat in the area, and the owner came out, obviously on his way home. We explained our situation and I honestly expected a story about how they were out of food and closed. The owner went back jnside and made our order, even included extra food for us having to wait, and he was even very friendly about it. His service alone is hard to top. I walked into this Black Owned business and was greeted by Brittany who was exceptionally nice and professional. She gave me a run down of the menu and I ordered the 2 meat (Rib and Brisket) Baked Potato. It was DELICIOUS and very filling. You could easily stretch two meals out of one Potato which makes it nice and affordable at ~$9/meal. I will be coming back in the future and supporting this local black Owned BBQ spot!!
