Florence Crab House

Have to say the staff and the manager were great. Food is not. Ordered the snow crab legs. Seasoning was not awful but would have rather had none. Not sure if they are microwaving the legs but crab legs were mushy on the inside and shell was so tough and rubbery you could not “crack” the shell. Worst crab legs I have ever had…. Need to work hard on a different method for cooking them. I will also give credit to the manager, I did not ask for the meal taken off but he did take off the meal that I did not eat.

The place is very nice, fairly spacious, the service was really good. We went on a Saturday afternoon, were greeted and seated immediately. Our server was really nice and stayed on top of everything as far as check-ins, filling drinks, utensils, etc. I ordered the shrimp with no head bag that comes with 1 potato and 1 corn, for an extra small fee I added two eggs - everything was delicious, fresh and very filling! My sister had the same and added 1 lb. Of sausage and she enjoyed everything as well. The music was also amazing and they celebrate birthdays with a birthday song so that was nice to see. 10/10 would recommend!

My husband and I went here for the first time. We drew the name of this place out of a bag of options. We ordered the soft shell crab and then one of the steamer options. With a medium heat. We probably could have went with a hotter level though as we enjoy heat but this was lacking a bit. Expect to get messy eating here. Overall the food was good the crab legs were on the cooler side but was seasoned well. We enjoyed our night out. The only thing that was really something I did not enjoy was it was pretty dim in there which makes the menu hard to read

The overall atmosphere and service was pretty nice as I waited for my food. The only problem was that my crab boiled had a mixture of corn and crabs that was fresh and old. Besides that food was great, I would go back but check my bag before I leave.
