Flings Fried Chicken

We stopped in Sunday evening to place a takeout order. We’ve never been before so the server showed us the menu and recommended a couple items. We decided on a wing and wedge combo with a pasta salad side, 6 piece chicken and zucchini sticks. The chicken was perfectly cooked and I loved the zucchini sticks. Their mild bbq sauce was almost like a mix between buffalo and bbq, we really enjoyed it. The staff were dealing with a decent amount of customers and orders given it was already 9pm on a Sunday. But the two staff members still got our order together in a timely manner and apologized for the wait, although it truly wasn’t bad. Maybe 15 minutes. So I visited flings today and had to write another review . When I go to flings I order white me no rib. They give me a breast and wing. Today the woman said they only carry ribs. When she found out I am a frequent visitor she changed the story to I will go look. Scoop here comes the disappointment. 6:59 pm I pay for my order , get into the car and lo and behold I have a rib in my box. She said they have no wings. So 6 pm at night you have no wings and no breast just ribs. My chicken was so dried out you could not chew it. And my taters were old and gross. Because I try to support this place since I have been visiting since it opened, I keep going back with service jeep getting worse . I was contacted once by someone saying they would look into my complaint . Never heard another word. So

Just tried this place, been dying to try it for a while. I ordered the 3 piece chicken deluxe meal and specifically asked for 3 thighs to test their service. They were out of thighs (understandable, it was getting late), but to my surprise, they included a little note apologizing and threw in an extra piece. (Please don’t go here expecting extras—I’m sure it was just a one time thing.) As for service, I’d give it a 5/5. Very friendly. Now for the food, I have mixed thoughts. On one hand, the cornbread, wedges, gravy, and potato salad were all great. On the other, the chicken (which is the most important part) was dry and slightly stale. Oh my goodness. I fell in LOVE with flings. While in university. I will forever brag about this establishment. I was never disappointed. The staff are very much pleasant. There isn't a long wait time. No complaints whatsoever. I introduced a handful of my friends to Flings Fried Chicken and everyone truly felt the same way.

Never had a bad meal from here. So glad my family ordered from them for Easter one year! I've been a fan ever since! Every year this is what I ask for, for Easter dinner lol. Great job guys!
