Flew the Coop Nashville Hot Chicken Shack

Wow y’all this place has one of the top fried chicken sandwiches I’ve tried. Intense flavor, perfectly crispy, good heat levels. I went to Nashville and tried a handful of reputable hot chicken sandwiches and they were okkayyyy. Flew the Coop is tasty, and it’s consistent, I went a handful of times and it was very good every time. It’s attached to a gas station which is unusual but it’s a normal fast casual type restaurant inside. The service was good, pretty basic order at the counter thing but the same guys seemed to be there each time we went, they were nice, helpful, and didn’t get stuff wrong. In my opinion it’s a top restaurant in the area in terms of taste/consistency/price and generally a really top notch fried chicken place. Good fries too, a nice level of salt without bein

In the past 4 months, I must have eaten here like 20-25 times no joke. I think I had just about ever meal on the menu. All of it is good, you can't go wrong if you like chicken. Owner is always there hustling and working along side the great staff. I recommend this any day and any hour of the week. AZ hot is my choice of level of heat. I would start on mild if its your first time so that you can taste the flavor of your food.

Amazing place. Been visiting on way to and from Sedona at last location, new location even better. Best chicken sandwich in the state from what we’ve had. The thighs are huge difference from the other places. Flavor on the rub is great. Wife gets Jens, I get med or hot, all heats have great flavor. New bbq is good too, everything we’ve had here in many visits is awesome. Great staff, easy parking, good place. Highly recommend.

Typically, I don't like the Cayenne pepper style of hot chicken but this was pretty good. The mac was creamy and the style that I prefer. Unfortunately, I didn't look at the whole menu and realized after I ordered they had pulled pork sandwiches available. Would definitely go back again.

Customer service was amazing and the food was fantastic! Best potato salad we've ever had. I haven't had fried okra that good since living in Texas. My husband got the pulled pork sandwich and I got the chicken sandwich and they were so good! My husband says the food tastes just like when he was in Tennessee. I highly recommend, best place we've eaten at while visiting Arizona.
