absolutely love the authentic flavors this establishment has to offer— but throughout the years, the prices just keep going up and somehow the portions have gotten smaller. paying almost $20 for a soup that’s 8 oz. in portion is a bit much. i really wish they could serve a bit more, it would make a huge difference. but until the portion and pricing make sense, i’ll have to hold off on indulging or until more comes along in Orlando. should’ve used my hand as reference for sizing in the picture. but the bowl fits perfectly in my hand and i have small hands. and the bowl is not even, half full of the soup itself. and the true problem is, the portion is the same even without protein.

Great taste of home in Orlando! The food was very authentic and flavorful — exactly what I was craving. Jollof rice was well seasoned, the egusi was rich and delicious, and the portions were generous. Service was friendly and welcoming, and the vibe felt like true Nigerian home cooking. If you’re looking for real Naija food in Orlando, this spot definitely delivers. I’ll be back!

My husband and I were a little nervous to try this place because of some of the reviews, but we really wanted to try African food. We were so surprised. It ended up being one of the best meals we have ever had, and the portions were pretty big. I actually got full halfway through my plate. If you are new to African food, definitely try the egusi with chicken. It’s a great gateway. As Mexicans, we thought it was similar to Mexican food but with different presentations. We will definitely come back. Don’t let the bad reviews discourage you. They are probably from picky eaters expecting foods they’re used to. The woman working the front was very kind and helpful, and the restaurant was clean. There was a bit of a strange smell, but that usually comes with the combination of spices and meats

I grew up eating Nigerian food because of my sister's family and when I moved here, I lost the chance and have had any in a long time. I saw this place a few years back and always wanted to try it and finally got the opportunity today! I ordered the egusi soup with goat meat , jollof rice, and plantains. I typically have eaten the egusi soup with dry fish and snails ( unwillingly 😭) so it was a first time trying it with goat. The goat meat was full of meat but was a little dry but still tasty. The egusi soup was very good. It almost reminded me of my sister's family. I really liked the fact it was not too spicy but still had a kick. I do wish the portion was a little bigger because I enjoyed it so much. The fufu was definitely great texture and good enough to get the flavor of the soup. T

The first sign that this was a good place to eat was the flood of Nigerians coming and going to pick up food items from the restaurant. The menu items were explained to us by a kid (the owner's child), but his recommendations and explanations were great. The food was fantastic. This unassuming restaurant was a must try place, go back for more.
