Flava Jamaica

I have been an occasional customer here since they opened and this is the first time I was disappointed with my food. I got the saltfish w/ provisions and the fish had no real flavor whatsoever. It was very oily and loaded with so much black pepper it was the only thing I could taste. The cashier was pleasant and the mango pineapple juice was delicious. As I said I've been coming here for years and was always happy until today, so I did take that into consideration.

I got the Wednesday lunch special for $6.50. The price was amazing, look at the amount of food for this price. Great deal. The fried chicken was delicious, mac and cheese was decent/ok. I also grabbed the Sweet Sticky Spicy Chicken. The flavor profile was delicious but too spicy for me. 😆😱😂😵 The steamed veggies were great. Great food and great price...

Awesome Caribbean restaurant in Brockton. Service was quick, didn't have to stand in line long. The food is great, and very tasty. Their jerk chicken is especially recommended. Not really a family style restaurant, seems more like a date place. No alcoholic drinks though. Overall, a pretty good place for lunch or dinner for a small group of 2 or 3, but larger groups would be a little unwieldy.

I was looking forward to tasting the food at this spot for a while but my excitement was short lived. I wanted to order their pasta but it was catering style (no problem), they have curry shrimp and that’s one of my favorites so I was pretty excited still but not after I ate some of it. 2 stars for the service because there’s no indication for what’s available and the person taking my order told me it wasn’t available but didn’t even bother telling me what was. If I didn’t assume they had curry shrimp I probably wouldn’t have ordered anything and walked away. Might have been best in this case because I pretty much tossed the food away after eating the shrimp. the cabbage was good, rice tasted weird, shrimp was ok, and the plantain were a disappointment.

Great down home Jamaican flavor , very clean place big portions and has very friendly staff , Naftavia was a pleasure to order from . This is a hidden gem in Brockton , highly recommend for their good flavors , great vibes and cute dine in area . You can’t go wrong with this family owned restaurant.
