I am a New Canaan CT local and frequent this store, as I appreciate having a nearby seafood option. This rating reflects a mix of positive and significantly negative experiences. The Good The store deserves credit for its prepared items and some fresh selections. I highly recommend the sushi, sauces, and various fish and dip offerings, which are consistently fresh. The Bad My overall rating is lowered due to persistent issues with the quality of raw shellfish. On multiple occasions, I have purchased oysters and clams only to discover they were spoiled or dead upon returning home. This has completely ruined planned meals and resulted in wasted time and money. Ordered a steamed lobster. Little meat, gelatinous texture. It only took 12 minutes. It should be live. I’m starving!

Always the best and freshest sushi. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a fresh fish market in the area. They also have premade sushi that you can grab and go.
