FIVE-O-NINE grill has amazing food! Friendly service! Happy to know Haitian food is a short drive away. I ordered 2 Griot platters. The flavor was sooo good it makes you want dance! I will definitely be back!

This is not my first time eating here, which is why this experience was so disappointing. On my first visit, everything was a 10/10 — the rice was flavorful, the griot was fresh, and the food was on point overall. This time, the rice tasted bland and old, like it had been sitting for hours or even from the day before. The griot meat was dry and didn’t taste freshly made. Idk what changed but The quality was definitely not the same. I came back expecting the same great experience I had before, and unfortunately this time the food was not good at all. I really hope this was just an off day, because I know this place can do much better.

The generally welcoming vibe at this restaurant set the mood for a really good experience. We ordered the fried turkey, fried chicken and fried pork all of which were absolutely delicious and served with some tasty sides. You won’t go wrong with any of these choices. Meal presentations were good, and I’m already looking forward to another visit.

This place has the best authentic haitian food my Haitian bf loves eating here and I have been a constant customer since then . The best customer service , clean environment and fast service . I have no complaints!

Bon baguy net!!! Let me tell you something I’m Haitian and this taste like a home cooked meal from grandma’s house. The food is sooo good so much flavor, the customer service is top tier. If your look for authentic Haitian carribean food you found the right place at 509 grill. I literally tried their whole menu. I love their white rice the marinade the griot the legume I can go on and on this is definitely my favorite restaurant in Houston. They also play great Haitian music and have a full bar.
