Five Guys

My son and I went for a burger on Saturday night at Five Guys. The restaurant was packed — every table was occupied and most people were waiting. Normally, a good burger is worth the wait. Unfortunately, this time it wasn’t. When we finally got our burgers and fries, the food was more than disappointing. The burgers were burnt and completely dry, with no juice at all. My son, who normally loves burgers, took only two bites and then stopped eating. His hot dog was okay, but nothing special. The fries were dry, rock-hard, and simply not tasty. On top of that, we paid about $50 in total. I’m happy to pay more for good food, but this was very low quality for the price. Five guys burgers never disappoint. They're juicy and made to order, so the wait can be a bit long. The French fries are better than the used to be. They aren't as greasy as they were in previous visits. They also give a generous portion of fries. Can't wait to go back.

This is actually a decent five guys. It has good service and delicious food. My only reservation is the limited seating. It's probably only an issue during the busy times but sometimes during the lunch hours you can find the manager sitting at one of these tables with his laptop. Perhaps he needs an office. Either way he shouldn't be camped out during the busy lunch hour doing work.
