Five Guys

My experience at Five Guys was just okay. The food itself was decent, but there were a few issues that kept it from being better. When I first received my burger, it was made incorrectly. To their credit, the staff did remake it without any problems, which I appreciated, but it did slow things down and took away from the overall experience. The fries were another disappointment. While the portion size was generous, they were a little dry and had a slightly burnt taste, which made them less enjoyable than expected. For the price, I was hoping for more consistency and better quality. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible visit, but it wasn’t great either. Five Guys has potential, and with better attention to accuracy and food quality, it could easily be a much better experience

We have always loved going to this five guys for a hamburger and fries. The french fries did not have an extra scoop in the bag. They barely have the little paper bag to hold french fries that was not overflowing or full. There were almost no extra fries in the bag. No longer a cup but a small paper bag. Every week I read news articles about fast food being way overpriced these days and five guys is one of those and now that they have cut back on their french fries it makes them twice as high priced. I may be rethinking where I have my hamburger and french fries.

Placed an order at 5:15 on the app to be ready at 7:15. Plenty of time to prepare right? I had to wait in the store for 45 minutes as people that ordered after that got there got their food before me. What is the point of ordering on the app if you still have to wait for everybody in the restaurant to get their food?

This was our first visit, and now we understand why so many people like Five Guys. The burgers were perfectly cooked and juicy. Melted cheese and perfectly cooked bacon that was crispy and smoky. The toppings made the Bacon Cheeseburger taste even better. The buns held up to the burger, and it never fell apart. The fries, cooked in peanut oil, were perfectly crispy in the outside and soft on the inside, and seasoned with the right amount of salt.

Went in and ordered two sandwiches. Asked for one of them to be double wrapped because I had to drive 25 minutes home with it. They labeled them wrong and double bagged the wrong one so I got to pay $11 for a cold burger. Labeling them wrong is worse than not labeling them at all. You’ve raised your prices significantly. Please do better.
