Five Guys

I got a BLT with cheese, but by the time I thought about taking a picture of it, I only had 3-4 bites left, lol. To some degree, that should tell you that it was good. Their bacon is a bit on the crispy side, so be prepared for that. I don’t usually like bacon that’s on the crispy side – despite that, I give the sandwich an 8 out of 10. I’d also say you should eat it while it’s fresh and not wait until later or warm it up (I did all of that, so that’s why I can offer that advice). We also ordered 2 large fries – regular and Cajun (Note: It doesn’t say Cajun on the pictured receipt because we forgot to say that at first, but about 3 minutes later, we asked for Cajun for one of the large fries, and they said no problem, we will do that for you). I ate here on 19 NOV and it was immaculate inside. Everything was clean. The Food was outstanding. These are HOT cheeseburgers coming off the grill and the french fries are overwhelmingly great! The two guys working had everything in order and in place. It's been like 5 yrs since I ate here due to working up in NOVA - and just went back. These guys had this place squared away.

The pandemic eliminated the peanuts that were always a nice touch while you waited for your meal but hopefully they will come back when life gets back to normal. Inside dining is also not happening right now but they take everyone's safety to heart. **Update** inside dining is happening again, but it was such beautiful day we sat at one of the outside tables.

Every few years I get five guys because someone tells me it’s awesome….but it never is. It’s like a $10+ burger with a scoop of their ugliest fries that the grease slowly eats a hole in the bag. The burger is ok but sloppy. I’m never impressed.

The Five Guys Restaurant at Hollymeade is by far the cleanest eating establishment I’ve ever seen. Floors were immaculate and all counters were sparkling clean! Quite impressed at the level of clean they are maintaining. Super friendly and efficient staff, great food as always. Keep it up!
