Fisherman's Corner

My boyfriend and I spent a weekend on Tangier Island and ate at every restaurant as there are only a few and the Fisherman's Corner was a favorite. We tried the soft crab bites, the signature hot crab dip and the signature crab bisque. The dishes did not disappoint! Our server was very friendly, the atmosphere was great. It was a very hot day and we appreciated the air conditioning! We will definitely be back the next time we are on Tangier Island.

What a great restaurant! The moment we walked in my family and I felt the warmth of the atmosphere. The waitress was superb and so friendly! The food was exquisite! I ordered the softshell crab sandwich.... Which at first I was underwhelmed with what it was... deep fried softshell crab in between a couple of bread slices. She told me to add a little mustard... And that's it.....When I bit into it.... The flavors exploded in my mouth. I couldn't believe how good something so simple tasted. My wife had the fish and chips, which she said was the best she'd had. I highly recommend it! Pros *Great food *Great service *Great atmosphere *Decent prices Cons !Need to take a boat to get there

Excellent soft-shelled crab. Good coffee. Nice selection of other seafood dishes. Highly recommended.

Love it. It's best place to eat on the Island. The food was good. The restaurant is clean. The hostess was friendly and always comes back to check if there is any other things we need. I like to go back for visit.
