Went to First Watch in Layton for breakfast today. It was very busy but the wait was less than 15 minutes. Parking can be a little challenging but we got a spot pretty quickly. We ordered a blueberry cornbread with lemon butter off the seasonal menu, and it was very good. I'm impressed at how well the combination went together. With that said, the cornbread could have been a little hotter. The main entrees were a steak hash also off the seasonal menu and an original breakfast. I have to say the steak cash was really good. Had a chimichurri on it and another sauce that went very well with a decent amount of meat and more than enough potatoes and other ingredients. The original breakfast was scrambled eggs with some cheese on it, potatoes and bacon. Again everything was very good. They have
I was lucky to be able to attend the friends and family event at First Watch this past weekend. I had a good experience! The food was flavorful and it left me satisfied. I tried the Pesto chicken quinoa dish, eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, biscuits and gravy side, and the million dollar bacon. I also tried all of the juices. Service was awesome, everyone looked happy to serve you. The interior has a modern farmhouse style, not too cold feeling, but homey. My kids enjoyed their pancakes and waffles very much. High chairs are available. I recommend downloading their app for perks and offers! Keep up the awesome service and quality I received this weekend, First Watch! Thanks for having that event, it was my first time at a First Watch 😊 *Updating this just to say that we had great servic
I truly enjoy this breakfast spot. My wife and I first discovered them in St George and are glad they've built one near where we live. They have a large menu selection of classic breakfast foods as well as the First Watch exclusives. I can't say enough about this spot in one review; you'll just have to go for yourself. It only takes one visit to find out that once is not enough. Whether you want to come alone, breakfast date with a partner, or a big breakfast with the family First Watch delivers. Service is fast and food is tasty! Prices are reasonable and the restaurant is always clean. I only had one complaint about my coffee mug having lip stick stains but that was a minor issue. You won't be disappointed when you dine at First Watch. You can even take some of their coffee home for your
Everything was amazing! Tried their juices and they were fresh and tasted great! All the food we have tried tasted amazing! Can’t go wrong going here! We went on a Saturday at 9:30am and predicted a 25-30 min wait but we only waited 10 minutes! Super quick and efficient service! Our waiter was absolutely amazing! Thank you Megan for making our experience an unforgettable time! Definitely recommend coming here!
It was our first time visiting this place. It was very crowded, but the waitress handled everything quickly. Our order was brought out relatively fast. I substituted the hash browns for fruit, and my Eggs Benedict with salmon became pretty small for $15 (including tax). However, the main problem did not come from that, it came from the fruit bowl. There was a hair in it! I pushed that berry aside (my toddler was about to eat it), took another one, and it seemed fine. But then my toddler reached deeper into the bowl, and there was a cat or dog hair on another berry (I didn’t take a picture , I immediately removed it from my child’s mouth and we left). Disgusting! I don’t know whether the fruit wasn’t properly washed or if it was handled with dirty hands or clothing, but the responsibilit
