Customer Reviews
The ribs were incredibly tender and packed with flavor so good you don’t even need sauce or utensils. The sweet potato fries were piping hot, perfectly seasoned, and just the right amount of sweet. The Mac and cheese had a slightly firmer texture than I prefer, yet the taste was still excellent. A truly satisfying meal!
Sorry, but I had to ask to turn on the heater for the dining room.. never removed are coats. Food wasn't very hot dogs to the temperature inside. Not a lot of meat on the sandwichs. Just a bad night don't think I will return.
Walking in I was a bit confused because there was no greeting and the place to order was towards the middle of the restaurant. Once we figured it out, it was smooth sailing and so worth the confusion. The ribs are so tender and full of flavor.. no sauce or silverware needed! The sweet potato fries were hot, flavorful and just the perfect amount of sweet. The Mac and cheese was a bit overcooked for my liking, but the flavor was good. Overall a good experience and I would definitely be back.
overall score is 6.5/ 10 The 3 meat platter was really good! But the sides are bland, cornbread was amazing, for the price your paying I’d expect them to give me a decent amount of fries and all I got was a little bit of fries and to top it off it was really soggy fries and bland. I got Cajun fries tasted nothin like it. i also got the smoked chicken and gaved me like 2 little tiny pieces was dissapointed because they didn’t even give me atleast a good amount i mean seriously 2 little pieces?
We had been wanting to stop by this place for a while — and we’re so glad we finally did! The food is some of the best I’ve ever had. It’s packed with smoky flavor, tastes authentic, and everything was fresh. The meat was tender and perfectly charred — just the way it should be. You know a place is doing barbecue right when the sauces are optional, not necessary. The only thing I would recommend is improving the Old Fashioneds — they could use a bit more balance and depth. Other than that, everything was excellent. I’m honestly surprised they’re not more popular. Definitely recommend!
