Came here looking for some good, local Jamaican food. I'll start off by saying the portions are definitely plentiful. The brown stew chicken plate I got turned into two meals, it was so heavy. The rice & peas were a little dry, but the brown stew gravy made up for that. The cabbage was actually really good, and I pretty much always like to switch it out for another side. I'd come back if in the area, but I wish they did jerk pork.
Food is authentic, restaurant is clean, staff is friendly. My brother and I stopped in to grab a quick bite to eat and take home. I’ll be coming by more frequently. This was my first, my brother brought me because he had been talking about this place for weeks and wouldn’t stop….LOL! and I live in SandySprings, Georgia. 👍🏾👍🏾 ♥️ The photo of food is a jerk chicken plate.
Normally, I don’t buy chicken soup from Jamaican restaurants because I have so many experiences. The soup smells raw because the chicken isn’t properly look after I buy the soup but when I pull up at work and I tasted soup, believe me I don’t even use a spoon anymore. I put that large soup up my head and I never smell anything in the soup as to know that it was chicken. The soup was on point 100% people super lovers. go check it out if you go there and you have a bad experience. I don’t own the restaurant I promise you I’ll pay you back your money number one Jamaican restaurant in the United States of America.
Oxtails are the skinniest end part of the tail lol all fat and cartilage. Rice is hard and gravy is sweet. Plantains are stale… 2 plates were $40 no drinks included
My favorite Jamaican spot on the east side! They always hook me up with plentiful portion and I like to get gravy on my rice. Definitely my go to spot.
