Firehouse Subs South Towne

Firehouse subs used to be one of my favorite! In the last several months, my favorite sandwich, the smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket has gone from a 10 to a 1. Their meat is super fatty and tough. They put less meat on as well. I used to pick firehouse over any other sub shop, but they are now in the same category as Subway unfortunately. Looks like Jersey Mike’s has my business unless firehouse can step it up and get back to the quality they used to be.

Come in pretty often, but this time in particular really rubbed me the wrong way. I come in at around 8:19pm. I understand the place closes at 9pm but there is also not a sign that says we can’t come in and order before then. As soon as my boyfriend and I walked in, the employees immediately look at us and sighed. One young lady was taking the trash out at the time. I assume she was the one making the sandwiches because as soon as she sees us, she proceeds to angrily put the trash bags down and starts making the sandwiches . Again, i understand you close at 9pm but you still have 40 minutes to do closing work but have a nasty attitude about two sandwiches that took you 8 minutes to make is crazy. Food is amazing but the employees past 8pm aren’t.

Quite enjoyed this place. For a sandwich shop it's really good! I got the Turkey Bacon Ranch and the Engineer. Both very well made. Bread is so soft and smells so good! Bacon was so soft was not overcooked like most sandwich shops. Honestly out of both I loved the Turkey Bacon Ranch Sandwich. Overall experience defiantly amazing, will come back for sure!! Amazing decor, and the kids get a cute firefighter hat!! Total win win!

Been a regular here for quite a while now and within the last 1-2 years noticed a real drop off from what I would get. I have standing order that I always order and I always double the meat. For whatever reason this location repeatedly just ignores that and gives me the standard faire amount for my sandwich but going to Fort union location I can tell when I order and get double meat because I can feel the heft in the sandwich. this one I was like Okay ill give them a chance to see if they do it again and just got only the meat and cheese. Still the same thing. I rarely do this but I have to add this to my permaban location. Far too often I would talk directly to the owner and mention it and still this happens.

Got a to go order and on my way home I was wondering what was so stinky. It was this sandwich! Very very burned. The smell of it made me gag.
