Firehouse Subs Moncks Corner

I went in thinking I would grab “just a quick sandwich.” That was optimistic. Firehouse does not make light little polite subs. They make sandwiches that require commitment, possibly a strategy meeting. The bread is soft but sturdy, the meat is generous, and everything is steamed in a way that makes you question why other sandwich places are still trying. The first bite is warm, cheesy, and slightly dramatic, in the best way. You immediately understand why you are not cooking tonight. The staff moves with efficiency, friendly but not forced, and the place stays clean even during a rush. That matters. Nothing ruins a good sub like chaos at the soda machine. If you are in Moncks Corner and craving something reliable, filling, and unapologetically stacked, this is the stop. I tell myself

I thoroughly enjoy getting my lunch from here occasionally. My new favorite is the Hero sub. I like the fact that my order was in the process of being completed when I arrived to pick it up. The employees were nice and I appreciate being greeted. Top notch service!

Went to the Moncks Corner location, near Walmart. The order taker was spot-on! Friendly and good at her job. The sandwich maker, not even close! My husband wanted the New York Steamer, no sauces, I.e., mayo or mustard that come on it, only meat and cheese. While placing the order, the order taker repeated it and even had me verify it was correct on the screen. It was correct! The sandwich maker put what appeared to be mayo on one side of the sandwich but then attempted to remove it. The other side appeared to have Italian dressing on it?! At any rate, these sandwiches aren’t cheap. One would suppose if you have a special order, you may pay closer attention, especially if someone asks for NO MAYO! Came in 4 minutes until close, I know how it feels I’ve worked in restaurant atmosphere’s before. However the staff working this evening didn’t mind at all. Great service and even had a couple laughs with them about coming in so late. Firehouse is always going to be my favorite sub place EVER.

Haley and Savanah were so awesome. Outgoing great customer service and smiling. I really am pleased too see people that happy to great you.
