Firehouse Subs Indian Trail

Well I tried the New French Dip and it wasn't good. Sorry , but it had a big wad of Black Fat at the end of the sub. Looks like the end piece of beef with a big piece of fat running through it. Figure the guy making the sub would have taken it out? Could be a little better like Arby's and that's not saying much.

When the best thing is the pickle, this place is not worth it, especially for the price point. Apparently their BOWL of soup is CUP size for most others. It was watery, and the bacon was flubby, and not chopped. Hardly any potatoes and all greasy water. French dip was cold, as was the au jus, and all it tasted of was garlic.

I just left from there. I placed an order for a meatball sub with added jalapeño and a hook and ladder fully involved. These guys put jalapeños on both sandwiches. I’m highly allergic to hot things as I’ve had two jaw surgeries where my gums have been opened up and when I eat something hot, it penetrates into my scar tissue and gums and burns like the devil. In turn, this causes sensory overload and I have a reaction. Had to use my EpiPen and still my throat is swollen. I took it back and the manager who was Latino, was a jerk. The whole place has people working that obviously can’t speak or read English. Never again!

There was a gentleman that was making the sandwiches (dont know his name) that helped me with redeeming my promo special deal. He took time to help me understand it and helped me with the app, then he went back there and made my order. He showed great customer service.

Had a special vegetarian Sub and it was perfectly made. New owners have really turned things around from before. We received quick and friendly service not to mention the dining area is kept clean and well maintained. Will definitely visit again!!
