Firehouse Subs Alton Corners

Remember, patience is a virtue. The sandwiches are great. The restaurant is kept clean. The staff is friendly and professional. However, the service can be on the slow side. However, keep in mind that everything is freshly made. I've watched them and they do not dawdle. They are moving those sandwiches down the assembly line very smoothly. I wonder if adding another person would expedite the production. So, if you're in a hurry, I recommend using their app to place your order before you arrive. I've created my own sandwich in the past, but today I went with their, New York Steamer. Yum-Yum. It's a hot deli-style sub with corned beef brisket and pastrami (my favorite deli meat), melted provolone cheese, deli mustard, mayo and Italian dressing. Went in at around 730 pm and it was not busy. The staff was slow but had nice attitudes. I ordered a firehouse salad with two cups of Italian dressing and to my surprise was given two sample sized cups of dressing. When i called the store to ask about it , it took me calling 4 times for them to even answer and then when they did answer it was silent until i spoke and then when i asked about the dressing cup size i was told that corporate made them switch. Had i been informed of the change i wouldve asked for more dressing. This is a pathetic excuse of an amount of dressing for the large salads they serve. Soda can for reference

I’ve been slacking on making this review. First, I LOVE the customer service here. The employees are genuinely some of the kindest people you’ll talk to! I’ve never had a bad experience. My food is always the perfect temperature and it tastes really good! They are always so kind and engaging. I really LOVE this location. It’s convenient for me because I work down the street! I am new to the area, because of my job. Respectfully their attitudes make a difference to the community. They are always so welcoming, do an amazing job at keeping the store clean and presentable. This FHS location is ran how businesses should be!!! Thank you! And Keep working hard!!

So I ordered a Thanksgiving sub online at 418pm. It’s a sub right? At 430 I walked in to pick up and wasnt ready until 450pm. Got it home and there was no mayo and no cranberry (sweet and tart) whatsoever. The bun was soggy from the steamed “stuffing”. Do better! And I want a FREE Thansgiving sub. Alton store.

Service is a bit slow, but man the wait is worth it. Their subs rolls are pillows and steamed to perfection. The New York Steamer is my go to, as I am a sucker for all things pastrami.
