Fire Chicken is my favorite!! The lady behind the counter is so sweet, she gave me free samples of the chicken ttaeng (which was delicious). I like practicing my Korean with her and she's nice for entertaining me stumbling through the language. I usually get the fire chicken gangjang which is spicy, or the bulgogi chicken gangjang if I want something sweeter. The portions are huge which is appreciated. This is a great family-run business that deserves support!
Rose at Fire Chicken was a delight. Husband and I's first visit, will def be returning. I ordered the Bulgogi Chicken Gangjung, husband ordered BTS Chicken Gang Jung. We also ordered Chicken Mandu and Spicy Pork Mandu (bc we like gyoza). I loved the pork mandu, and appreciated the crisp crunch of the chicken mandu. The sauce that accompanies mandu is more on the soy side, salty, with a zesty zing you can just taste. I rec adding lemon! Esp to the Bulgogi Chicken GJ - it was a sensational experience. It comes with white rice and the rice has a topping of crunch and sauce. I myself prefer just plain white rice, to me it's delicious, but this topping was pretty good. It didn't overtake the rice in a strong salt flavor and the crunch wasn't harsh or compromised by the rice. It also was just a
We ordered the red chicken ganjung which came with rice, and ordered kimchi with it. Both were fantastic to the extent where I forgot to take pictures until I was halfway through my meal. My wife and I shared one $14 plate as we weren’t considerably hungry, and it definitely filled us up. The chicken was crispy, spicy, and covered with crispy garlic. It was intensely satisfying and working really well with the white rice which was covered with a sauce (probably soy sauce) and crispy garlic as well. The kimchi was crunchy, sweet but sour, and a great palate cleanser. The restaurant has very very limited seating inside so we ate in our car. It took about 3-4 minutes between when we ordered and when we got our food. Overall would highly recommend if you’re looking for well priced, deliciou
I got the fire shrimp, bulgogi chicken, and BTS chicken. The chicken was white meat and battered and fried then covered in your choice of sauce. The shrimp was also fried in a tempura style batter. Big shrimp unlike most other places. The rice also had a sweet teriyaki sauce and tempura crisps on top. It was all delicious! I highly recommend this spot. The fire shrimp was my favorite
"Flavorful" is the takeaway. There is no reason for you to not like it. Quick service and just the right amount of seasoning for a lipsmacking meal. If you love Korean food, spicy food, fried food, chicken, and need something that is sure to fill you up Fire Chicken is the place to be. Highly recommend the Fire Chicken if you're a fan of spicy food and the bulgogi chicken if you want something mild, but flavorful.
