Super authentic Italian sandwich shop with freshly made mozzarella cheese. You know it’s good stuff when you see people show up in the line, both families and friend groups. They give you some sample mozzarella pieces to try and remember to make a decision if you want to buy some extra mozzarella cheese back home. The sandwich is big so I split it with my husband. So fresh and yum. Would go again!

Friendly local shop with great sandwiches/subs/grinders or whatever you want to call them. They have excellent daily specials and the mozzarella is fresh like butter! A couple friends and I were visiting from out of town. Very friendly staff and patient with people who had no clue what we wanted. Definitely will be back when in the area. 1/2 is plenty but if you want some for later go with a full. Local place with great food!

Got the Roast beef with Mozzarella cheese sandwich, what these guys are known for. It was delicious and well worth the trip.

I’m a local and our family has always loved Fiore’s. At lunchtime it was very busy and I was next in line when a customer came in to pay money they owed from another day. The man making sandwiches, while wearing gloves, took the cash, put it in the register, and then continued cutting mozzarella with the same gloves. He even handed pieces to other customers to try. I couldn’t go through with ordering and left the line. That was really disappointing, unsanitary and honestly gross. I love this place, but not enough to overlook basic food safety. Please do better.

Update 2/2026 I was finally able to plan ahead and stop in Hoboken on a Thursday at Fiore's Deli, for the roastbeef and gravy special with some of their fresh mutz and hot peppers. Definitely worth the wait and the sandwich was spot on. Admittedly the sandwich was a bit messy, but well worth it. Pretty sure extra napkins are a given when the sandwich goes out, but it never hurts to ask for more. Fiore's is on Adams Street between 4th and 5th. One of the bonuses of this spot is they have their own parking lot which makes picking up quick and easy. There is sometimes a wait, but lines move quickly as lots of employees are on hand to move the crowd through. Only downside is they dont have a place to sit and eat, but that is not a big deal for me. If Roast beef is not your thing,
