We finally had a full sit-down dinner at Fionn MacCool’s Irish Pub and Restaurant at 145 Hilden Road in Ponte Vedra, Florida, and the moment we walked in, we understood why locals treat this place like a second home. Paul, the owner, was there, greeting regulars by name, and the whole room had that cozy Irish pub energy that feels perfect for a date night, a relaxed dinner with friends, or even an early-evening bite after a long day. We started with the Onion Rings, and we are calling these Best of the Best because they are fresh cut, hand battered, and honestly, the largest rings we have ever seen, crispy, flavorful, and impossible to stop eating. We also ordered the Reuben Spring Rolls, which are a must, tender corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, rolled and fried into a crunchy, savo

Wow! My wife and I decided to drive an extr 5 minutes to check out Fionn MacCool's and I say, it was well worth the drive. I have lived over seas and been to Ireland and Temple Bar... This vibe was right on point. The food, FANTASTIC. Most things are all made in house apparently. They have an are for live music, which we have to come back to see, but the server we had, Riann was a delight. Very informative of the wine selection and the food. We chose to start with the Onion Rings as an appetizer... Holy Onion! These things were not only GRAND in size but also so crunchy (panko). I had the Dubliner sandwich (Amazing Rueben) and my wife had the Salmon. Both dishes were great portions. We had to take half home. But we decided to try to the Cake... Again, my mouth is watering just thinking abo

This place actually feels like stepping into a pub in Ireland. Well done! The Giant Pretzel and Paddy O'Pickle Back Melt were a delicious pairing. Good customer service and relaxing atmosphere on a weekday evening.

We were a group of 10, made a reservation for Friday at 7pm and were immediately sat when we arrived. The restaurant was full and parties were waiting, so recommend reservations. Our server, Jillian, was amazing, incredibly helpful and kind. We started with the Irish nachos (a must do…mouthwatering delicious!) and pretzel (also spectacular). I had The Strand Wrap, freshest turkey and most flavorful cheddar cheese I’ve had in a long time (the French fries were perfect!). Included are images of what the rest of the party ordered. The churro waffle for dessert was divine! They do have live music playing, just too loud for my taste. If you want authentic, amazing Irish food, you need to come by!

Fionn Maccool’s feels like a place that should be great. The atmosphere is lively and it absolutely seems like a fun spot to grab drinks. Unfortunately, our experience eating here was defined almost entirely by the service, and not in a good way. It was just the two of us and the pub was not busy. Our appetizers arrived before our drinks even though we ordered just wine and a whiskey right away. From there it only got worse. We watched tables that came in after us get quick, attentive service. Dirty plates piling up in front of us and we had to ask for them to be cleared. No one checked on us during the meal and our waters were never refilled. It genuinely felt like we were invisible. The playlist they had going was awesome, then the live music started and it was pretty terrible. What ma
