Finale’s Gourmet Desserts

I ordered the carrot cake, the white chocolate coconut cake, and the banana bread through Uber Eats. The carrot cake was actually pretty good—moist, flavorful, and not too sweet, which I appreciated. The white chocolate coconut cake, however, was too sweet for me. It was so sugary that I couldn’t even finish it. The banana bread was the most disappointing. It was crumbly, delivered cold, and tasted very commercialized. I could clearly taste the banana flavoring, which made me wonder if they even used real bananas at all. Overall, I wasn’t quite impressed, especially considering the high ratings I saw in other reviews. I really wish they made their desserts less sweet because too much sweetness becomes overwhelming to the point of being hard to enjoy.

I wanted to try something different for my husband's birthday in ordering a German Chocolate cake. The cake was fine, but must admit picking up the cake was a little off putting. It was simply an office where you walk in to a desk and tell them your here to pick up something. The guy was very friendly and pleasant and sticky found my order and went on the back to pick it up. It was a very nice cake, frozen, but nice. If your looking for something new, maybe give it a try.

We threw several bakers in the area for a loop a couple years ago when my husband and I were on the hunt for a special loaf of banana bread to be the "wedding cake" at our elopement. Our request: we wanted the loaf to have a little bit of decoration for the occasion, and we wanted it to be banana *bread* — not a banana cake. After a lot of searching, Finale's Gourmet Desserts was the bakery that came through - and they knocked it out of the park. If they thought our request was a little crazy, they didn't let on. The cake was not only delicious (it had a really good mix of spices and flavors - with a light frosting), it was also beautiful. It was such a personal touch for us, and it made our day extra-special. Thank you, Finale's!

They’re a wholesale baker but kindly let customers drop in to buy one-off/smaller portions of their absolutely delicious, fresh-baked dessert loaves, cakes, and bars/squares. The pricing is similar to how much the local markets that stock Finale’s loaves and desserts sell them for (or maybe a dollar or so cheaper) but they’re even fresher, plus you can check out their full range of offerings and delicious seasonal flavors.

I got 2 cakes for my husband's birthday, the lemon raspberry and the decadent chocolate. Both were amazing hands down. They were both moist had great flavor that was completely balanced, not overly sweet the way a store bought cake would be. I will 100% be back for my next event or birthday. They staff was so accommodating and customer service was top tier. Prices are also really great. In addition to the cake I grabbed a cookie bar and a could bread loafs. 🍪🎂🍰🍞
