Filibertos Mexican food

For the past 6 months I have been going here 3 times a week. This location is 50/50 for quality and consistency. Under new management but not consistent. When ordering a combo, sometimes you get a drink, but most of the time you don't. The bowels no longer come with a giant tortilla. AND the chips and guacamole is a mess this order, last time it was cheese on the chips and guacamole in a container(perfect). But this time it is nasty, no cheese, guacamole directly on the chips, by the time I got home they are soggy and gross. Also stingy with the sauces. I have been putting up with it but not anymore, all I wanted was chips with cheese and guac on the side. Instead I received soggy barf chips. Went through the drive through, there was a long wait and only one car in front of me. I ordered a chicken quesadilla, I’ve never had a quesadilla that was soggy. It looked like they took the chicken out of a pot of stew and threw it in the tortilla.

Go to any other filibertos. This one can never get an order right. Items are always missing. They do not know how to charge for food. Every time the prices are different, substantially. Tacos go from $2 to $5.50. This last time was the nail in the coffin. Torta meal was missing the side but that wasnt the worst part. The worst was that nothing was edible. From best to worst: the torta was flavorless mush. The birria tacos were made with old meat that was not only freezer burnt but also rancid. Some how they couldn't even make a bean burrito. The bean burrito actually tasted like poison. It was like they mixed acid with dish soap and mixed it in with cold beans. I genuinely dont know how you mess up a bean burrito... Just drive a few minutes to the eubank location and avoid the trouble.

I have been going to Filibertos for years. This was disappointing to say the least. Warm rolled tacos with very little onion, cheese or guacamole on the plate.. the picture says it all. What I received in the order, on the left, what was advertised on the right...

It was meh. My food was cold and not very flavorful, lacked any sort of spice. I declined the hot sauce not knowing it would be that bland. I also had to repeat myself at the window and still almost got the wrong order. I ordered the chimichanga plate, the girl asked "what number is that" and I told her 13 but when she read back my order she rang me up for a number 10 and said "oh I thought you said chicken tacos." Also had to ask for an agua fresco twice because she did not have it rung up when she read my order back the first time despite asking what flavor I wanted. Definitely check your food and make sure its right and have them read back your order. Portion size was generous though and the agua fresco was good.
