Fife 'n Drum Restaurant & Inn

Took a day trip to Kent and stopped here for a late lunch with my family. The restaurant itself is big and spacious with plenty of room. We first sat in the first dining area which was pretty dark so I asked to be moved to other room with windows which was a lot better. The food was okay. I got a salmon burger and I don’t know if it was fresh or just a frozen salmon patty deep fried. Daughter got the pho bowl. She complained that they didn’t give her enough broth which I have to agree. It was lacking broth and according to her the flavor was okay. Hubby got steak frites which he said was okay and our son got the southwest burger which he liked. The place was pretty empty for the size and I felt so rushed when eating. They kept coming over and looking at our plates but not in a can I get yo

I didnt stay in the hotel but had an opportunity to eat at the restaurant with my kids. We didnt have a reservation on 5pm Sunday night so i would recommend one. The staff kindly sat us and asked that we respect the later reservation at 630pm but we had plenty of time to enjoy our meal. We ordered salads, pasta, salmon, and desert and it was all delicious. Even more impressive than the food was the live music and the highly experienced wait staff. Hats off to the entire team who made our night and we will definitely be coming back.

The restaurant had a concentrated menu where anything you pick would always come out great! Service was attentive and quick. Between my friends and I, we had: -Seared Scallop Risotto -Steak Frites (can sub fries for mashed potatoes) -Southwest Burger (sub gluten free bun) -Roasted Cauliflower (Vegan/Vegetarian) -Lentil Soup Didn't stay at the Inn but it's in town and walkable to other shops on the main street.

We had Thanksgiving dinner here and actually sat at one of the high tops in the bar. It was super fun… The meal was delicious with actual home-cooked food… The service was fantastic, and the live piano music in the background was cheerful and not intrusive. The place was festive and clean and nice…. We really enjoyed it and will be back soon.

Such a beautiful little place! Our room at the in was very quaint and comfortable, beautiful updated bathroom. The restaurant was SO fantastic, lunch was phenomenal, and our little valentines dinner was perfect: the food, the ambiance, and the wonderful servers all made it a beautiful experience. Highly, highly recommend!
