Fiddler's Restaurant and Resort

My family and I came for a weekend stay. We ate at fiddlers on the first night. The food was overpriced and didn’t taste good. I asked for blackened chicken on my Alfredo and ended up getting COLD chicken without seasoning. Additionally I was charged for the blackening that wasn’t present on my food! My son and husbands meals were also cold. Service was ok ah best. ||At the resort, we liked our accommodations at first. However after the first night we woke up with bites all over us and noticed stains on the mattress (I would assume from bugs). We quickly gathered our items and left. ||Also, while the love music is nice, it’s impossible to sleep with it playing. Music stops around 2 am.

Cayla our server made our experience better than it would have been. My brain was in a fog from traveling up to our family's vacation house. I'd definitely go back for her she cracked me up and she went with my crazy . It was 1st kinda day of Fiddlers festival which I recommend only going on the Fri maybe Sunday. Friday not all set up and Sundays mostly sold out. Reason I'm saying this is on Friday we went to fiddlers festival and it was not great with all the setting up . Same thing for the resteraunt. The menu is very limited . I'm not sure if that's all the time but definitely for that weekend. The steamed oysters were amazing. The wine was actually cold for a change and a great brand. My husband had Gator bites that were good. I had a great steak but on the side the amazing sauce that

We had the new years eve buffet and it was excellent. The fried shrimp and chicken were both great. The crab legs were amazing and the prime rib was delightful. I do wish there were rolls and another option for dessert since I don't eat banana pudding but I didn't really have any room for more. Our server was friendly and kept our drinks full. All in all a great experience.

Three friends and I, (Ocoee High Class of 74), visited Steinhatchee, FL, pronounced "Steen-hatch-ee", for two days because of its reputation as a fishing mecca. The town is in the midst of recovering from Hurricane Helene (September, 2024). We were impressed with the amount of recovery. Because we are all Floridians we truly understand what it takes to rebuild a community, let alone a town. While there we ate dinner at Fiddler's Restaurant in Steinhatchee. Our server, Emily, was amazing. She made us feel like we were a part of the family. The food was good and we are happy we visited. There are marks inside the restaurant that show how high the water and mud rose during and after the storm. What they are still going through makes Emily's good nature all the more appreciated.

Room was overpowered with air freshener. We specifically booked to sit by the water and hear live music. It was a Saturday and they did not have the patio open or live music. They said booking.com is usually wrong. I use it often and disagree. They were not welcoming at all. Gave a wait time for the restaurant and nobody was hardly there. We left and went down the street. Others waiting said the food was just ugggh
