Feng Tong Chinese Kitchen

We enjoyed a wonderful meal here. I loved their hot & sour soup. Friendly & clean. Take out containers for dine in, not a bother at all. We'll be back the next time we come to Keene.

We have been going to Feng Tong a couple times a year for the better part of 20 years now. We went today got out usual and initially found it to be very expensive. We were then told it was a 45 minute wait because they were busy but realistically there wasn't much going on and light traffic in an out while we waited outside. We got our food in about 40 mins and brought it to a local park. Immediately we noticed something was off. The texture and taste of the crab Rangoon wasn't great at all, pork spare ribs were lacking in their regular robust flavor and were no longer thin and lean like it used to be, beef teriyaki was bland and cooked oddly no char but cooked throughout like it was boiled , fried rice was no longer the great fried rice it was. We visited today not realizing it was a take away place. They have three little tables and were very gracious to say we could eat there if we didn’t mind take out containers. We are very happy we ate there! Excellent fresh food! I asked for steamed tofu and vegetables with garlic sauce which was not on the menu! The owner said no Problem! It was delicious! The vegetables were cooked perfectly. My father enjoyed his won ton soup! Huge wontons! The other dishes were equally delicious! Thank you! We will be back!
