Fayette County Library

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Fayette County library! As a mom of three little ones, I gravitated to the children's area first. It's massive! There's a huge selection of books, lots of intentional book displays, fun seating and areas for storytime & computers. SHOUTOUT to Irene, the wonderful children's librarian who answered all my questions about the library & about being new to the area. I wandered around the rest of the library before leaving. It's very large! There's a plethora of spaces for adults to sit and read or study. I look forward to returning!

Setting is nice at this location. Some of the staff is nice.This library location historically has had really nice directors and staff who made you feel welcome and worked with you when you had questions or a need. Patrons were greeted warmly with a smile and if the patrin had issues, the staff was interested in helping to resolve them. The directors were very pleasant and showed a true interest in patrons resolving any issues. It was a pleasure coming to the library. It's really unfortunate that this is no longer the case for some of the staff and leadership. Now patrons are treated as impersonal transactions This location's administrative leadership changed about about a year and the new Director seems to have poor customer service/people skills and little compassion for patrons. Pretty big. Very quiet inside. Many seating areas!

This is one of our favorite libraries to take the kids. They have a lovely children’s room, story times, events, and wonderful librarians who truly love kids. Great selection of board books, picture books and chapter books. They also carry DVDs and audio books. Being part of the GA PINES system allows us to check out materials at one branch and return to another if needed. I love this library. Highly recommend!

I like that I can order pretty much any book to be shipped to the library that I use I do wish it had more app options for downloading books offline.. but the staff is always friendly and very helpful they have lots of programs to get people in the community involved
