Fat Tuesday's Sandwich Shop and Bakery

I stopped in this small hole in the wall restaurant after seeing the reviews on my last trip to Shreveport. The reviews weren’t wrong. The food was amazing. It was so good that I actually bought a second sandwich to take home to my kids but mine was so good I forgot to get a picture of it too. They even put the sauces in separate containers so the bread didn’t get soggy and the food wash still fresh by the time I got it home an hour away. I will certainly stop here again on future trips to Shreveport.

I have been coming to fat Tuesdays for 8 years now and i have NEVER had a bad experience at this place! The food is always delicious and very beautifully prepared. They have the best potato salad ive ever had and the staff is always so friendly and accommodating. Make no mistake, this is the absolute best sandwich shop in this area.

I was working in the area and decided to try this little gem and I wasn't disappointed. It was quite packed on my lunch break but the wait for my food wasn't long. Seating is limited and it seemed many were getting to go orders. I ordered the special which was the Cajun Chicken Pasta and it was fantastic. It came with garlic bread and a choice of soup or a salad. I chose the soup. I had to try the Peach Cobbler Cheesecake and loved it. 😍 I would definitely go back. I do need to try a sandwich right!?!

Service was great. Good pricing. Potato salad is amazing. Poboys were great. Whole group loved it.

Its kind of a hole in the wall as seating is tight and always packed. But thats a testament to how GREAT the food is! They have a drive thru window which is convenient if you want to call your order in ahead. Highly recommend and we go there a couple times a month.
