Food was extremely delicious with large portions and made fresh and quickly. Fried chicken was very flavorful and amazingly juicy. Owner is very kind and a lovely lady to talk to. Resturant atmosphere was cozy and homey. Highly recommend!

Definitely a little gem in Phenix City 💕 My husband and I come through Phenix City twice a year and normally stop at Waffle house. We wanted some good country cooking this time and decided to try something different. Glad we did!! Fat Momma Lucy's was perfect!! The food was DELICIOUS!! The young lady that served us was so friendly!! Chatted with us the entire time we were there!! This will definitely be our fav spot to eat when we come through!!

My wife and I are always looking for small hole in the wall restaurants. We found it. Fat Momma Lucy was amazing. The fried pork ribs were amazing and if you are wondering i am going to quote Momma Lucy. "It's like eating fried fish and ribs at the same time. My wife order the ribs and I order the cheese burger. I am a sucker for a homemade burger. We shared our plates and the food was delicious. Side note: if you want real southern sweet tea and lemonade, this is the spot.

You want the real deal food of the south come here. Food always top notch and done right, service is always polite, professional, and great conversations while waiting. Would recommend anything here it all taste amazing. My one go to is Fried ribs with green beans and sweet potatoes. Yall amazing here.

Presentation is everything and I was overly satisfied with the quality and taste as well. My kids enjoyed all of the sides but I will say the okra is a MUST!!! Great Service. Will be back to try again. Plate was HEAVY!!!
