Farmington Public Library

Visited this beautiful library a few times while staying in the area for a few days. It’s a very nice building and aesthetically pleasing. Clean restrooms. Staff were helpful with helping me access the WiFi without a library card. They will grant you temporary access if you provide them with your ID.

This is well run community library that offers a variety of services that benefit the area. The staff and always knowledge and very kind. From story time to mobile printing there is something for everyone here.

This is an amazing place! Built in a form of futuristic spaceship, this library has it all: plenty of seats, computers, art deco and installations, kids facilities, quiet rooms and study rooms... I couldn't believe it's a usual city library, though maybe it's some kind of large state facility. Kudos to those who built it, hope you voted for them more and more!

Although I enjoy this library, I found it a bit ridiculous that asking for a used, scratch paper resulted in me having to purchase a blank paper (crumbled) for 10cents. The fee was not the issue, I have donated to the library during their book sale with no hesitation. The principle....I just wanted to be less wasteful and utilize old paper. Yes, it was my fault for forgetting my own supplies but to not have any old, used up paper just for a few jots is a bit ridiculous. And to be referred to the tiny, less then index card size paper was a bit insulting.

Beautiful and well equipped library. Friendly people. The only downside is the process it takes to get on to WiFi as a guest. It feels like crossing the border into East Germany in 1974.
