I really hate to leave a negative review, but I was genuinely disappointed by our recent visit. This was one of our favorite restaurants in town, and my wife and I absolutely loved the brunch. I know the restaurant sold not too long ago, but unfortunately the quality has noticeably declined. The brioche French toast used to be outstanding—thin slices of caramelized brioche, perfectly cooked with caramelized bananas, plump fresh sausages, and real Vermont maple syrup. Today, it was unrecognizable. The bread was extremely thick and dry, barely tasted like French toast at all, more like plain sliced bread with a little cinnamon. The Farmhouse is my favorite place to eat. The food is delicious and plentiful on a regular basis. I love the omelet--the smoked gouda is awesome. The servers have always gotten our orders correct and are happy to make substitutions. I like the setting; very welcoming, cozy and comfortable.

Simply fabulous. Again. Even better than last time. Food, service and atmosphere are spot on. Chateaubriand, oysters, clams, Brussels sprouts, Bronzini (fish), burrata salad, spinach. We did not indulge in the desserts but they sure looked amazing. Outdoor seating was fully booked. I highly recommend this place. The owner is lovely. Jen, our waitress, was excellent.

Service is a bit slow, but I think it was because the place is a good size.... staff was friendly, I ordered breakfast for lunch 😋 steak and eggs. The omelet and home fries come in cubes... this is different.
