Farmhouse Country Cafeteria

I came for lunch around 12:30. Service was good and fast. Prices were reasonable. Food was ok. The buffet didn't look apatising to me, but my wife wanted it. She loved the chicken and dumplings and the liver. I choose the BBQ sandwich from the very limited menu (I think that there was 4 choices). The meat was pork and showed no signs of being BBQ'd. It was ok except the bun was way over salted. The Baked beans were excellent. Also, there was some piece of electrical equipment that was making a fairly loud buzz the entire time and drove my hearing aids crazy.

I've eaten here many times & love it so much that I decided to have them cater my wedding. The food was unbelievably delicious! I can't recommend them enough for both dine in as well as catering any event. From the moment you enter the restaurant, everyone is so very kind and polite. Always smiling and so quick to assist. The buffet is always well maintained, clean, and the food is so good! 5 stars all around!

On 1/3/2026 around 3:00pm everything on the buffet was great except the green beans were very salty (couldn't eat them). Brought it to the gentleman's attention, he said he would check it out. Later during our visit he returned to us and confirmed what we told him. I'm guessing that those beans were discarded and replaced with edible beans . 👍👍 to that gentleman 😁

We were excited about this place after seeing the reviews but out experience made us feel like we were in the wrong restaurant. The buffet was loaded with food so I tried a little of everything. The vegetables tasted like they were from a can. The catfish was pretty tasty. The ribs were not good. The pulled pork was ok but cold. The crawfish had no seasoning and an absolutely waste of time. Please leave that dish to the cajuns. The “crabmeat” it imitation and I think they tried to seer it for flavor but it didn’t help. The baked chicken was dry and cold. I’ll stop there but for $19 each I expected much more. Lastly what kind of a Southern Country buffet doesn’t have fried chicken? My two stars is only because the staff were nice. That doesn’t make up for the poor food though.

They always have a fabulous atmosphere. The service is super friendly. The food is beyond delicious. It's a little pricey, but it's definitely worth it. We love it here!!❤️❤️. On a side note, our waitress was phenomenal!! Me and my adult son, who is on the spectrum, went on a lunch date. She treated him like he mattered. She listened and was so sweet. Thank you!!!!
