Farmer's Plate Hometown Cafe

Server was friendly and frank and straight forward and upsold me the exact amount that I was wanting (I hinted at it, so he wasn’t pushy at all) The hash browns were SO crispy and delicious. Cinnamon roll was GOATed. Alex recommended the full monti with a fried egg. He was right. He’s the best. The sausage has real flavor. Minnesoooota omelet had a great texture and very Minnesota. The cinnamon roll was so soft and perfect. Goodness gracious. Definite small town diner vibes. Great work.

This was the best eggs and hash brown breakfast I have ever had! While I was in the process of looking for a place to eat in Watertown, MN after a long bike ride, I stumbled across the Farmer's Plate Hometown Cafe and decided to go in. The place reminds me a of a typical local cafe with lots of locals eating there and a no-frills atmosphere. The service was prompt and friendly and I was surprised by how many options were on the menu.

Will try one more breakfast item. Expecting a baking powder biscuit in my biscuits and gravy. It was a different kind of biscuit and undercooked. The sausage in the gravy was good. The gravy was onion loaded, which was too much for me.

Amazing people amazing food and a perfect atmosphere to be in. We appreciate your hospitality, conversation and the support you guys gave us on our faith walk. We had a lovely breakfast with a nice little bee to watch from the window. Very pleasant experience. Service was great and Our food was also very good too.
