Far West Mexican Restaurant

Definitely out of the way, but we were in the area at a nearby gun range. Didn't know what to expect from a small town restaurant like this but we were definitely impressed. Food was absolutely delicious, atmosphere was a vibe, and the service was excellent. Our waitress Katrina took wonderful care of us.

We went at 3:00 and I worried that a place this remote might not be able to serve a quality meal. Boy was I wrong. They have Coke in a glass bottle, which is a real treat. The chips were firm and salted to perfection. They could easily handle the homemade guacamole which was phenomenal and the salsa was really tasty. The beef burrito was delicious and the carne asada street tacos were some of the best I've ever had (and I have had a lot). The meat was juicy and flavorful. There was an onion with butter in foil on the side with the lime slices. Wow! This place is about 45 minutes from my town and I will not hesitate to go back there.

This is a very tasty Tex-mex restaurant! Great portion sizes and so much flavor! The taco salad was delicious, made with rice and beans and crisp lettuce the queso was a wonderful addition! The chicken chimichanga was delicious, semi crisped outside and tender flavorful chicken! The service is top notch with friendly staff smiling and quick to keep the glasses full! The setting is with Arizona meets Mexico deco and just beautiful!

The first day they were open, they were obviously overwhelmed and understaffed with how many people showed up. Hard to predict that with a new business for sure! It took a while to get my food, but I could tell they were doing their best for us. I went again several days later, and they had more staff accompanied even better service! The food was hot, extremely filling, affordable, and the salsa is amazing! I definitely hope they stick around, because i will be going back many more times!
