Had the fried fish special (basically fish and chips). It was the biggest piece of fried fish that I'd ever had! The fries and slaw were also very good. My buddies had the margherita pizza, and had to eat the whole thing! Will go back there again if I can.
I went against my better judgement & all the Google reviews & tried this place & I wanted it to be good as the food looked very good. Cool atmosphere and honestly decent service. I asked for recommendations for food and they were not good at all. 🙅🏾♀️ I ordered : the ahi tuna app- the tuna was chewy The seafood boil( I think that was the name) zero flavor, the shrimp tasted cheap & check this they didn’t de-vein the shrimp!!! 🤮 I had to ask additional o-bay seasoning My bf had the shrimp po boy he said it was already and the dynamite shrimp app & we know those should be covered in sauce. I would take heed to the other google reviews before stopping in here. Parking across the street is free after 8pm.
There is plenty parking outside, the service was courteous and quick. We ordered Po Boy with fried ousters, Tuna Salad, and other things. My Po Boy was pretty good, fried ousters was very crispy outside. Consider this is tourist area, it's little surprise.
Tacos were great, I got a frozen mojito which was so-so, I'm not a big frozen drink fan so that's on me. It was quite busy so the staff was kept moving. Great food
Our tour guide from a walking food tour in Savannah recommended Fannie’s, as did two ladies from Common in downtown Savannah. We’re so glad they did. We have visited Savannah multiple times over the years but we’ve never made it out to Tybee. Fannie’s is right across from the beach. We got there a little after 12pm. We were seated right away. We both ordered the chicken avocado sandwich with fries. Listen, come hungry because they’re not playing around. I expected a thin grilled chicken patty. That is not what I got. It’s a grilled chicken breast that’s piled high with bacon, spring lettuce mix, avocado, red onions and sauce and it was DELICIOUS! The atmosphere, the food, the staff and the price is on point! I didn’t catch our waitress name but she was a sweetheart. Go check them out!
