Customer Reviews
The restaurant was a highly recommended by many people in Albuquerque to my son. We got the town lay and had a late dinner. I had a truly unique dish that I've not had at any Asian restaurant before. I've never heard of coffee chicken but it was absolutely excellent! Another highlight of the dinner was the way their kitchen handles edamame. Instead of simply steamed soybeans they seared it in a wok with soy sauce and other seasonings.
The food was delicious. The service incredible. Not sure what Jason’s role is but he is a rockstar. He took care of us and made sure we had a good experience. His warm and sweet smile was the cherry on top!!! If he is not the owner, he absolutely deserves a raise!!!!
A wonderful restaurant with attentive, friendly staff who check in just the right amount. The food is excellent - the spring rolls arrived fresh and piping hot, and the coffee chicken was unique and delicious. The Ma Po tofu was generously infused with spices, creating a rich and delicious dish. Even the simple boiled rice stood out with its subtle seasoning. The space is roomy and inviting, with fun touches of decor - small Chinese lanterns hanging from orchids , and a sitting Buddha rocking a pair of shades!
Over all, an expensive experience for what you get. The appetizers seem like they were store bought and stir fried to seem fresh made. I’ve had better dumplings and egg rolls from Costco. The Mongolian noodles with beef were a bit salty for my taste but overall good. The basil chicken was mostly half burned garlic and ginger cubes that were inedible sprinkled with pieces of chicken, the flavor of the chicken in the dish itself was good but not much of it. I guess I should say something nice, the dipping sauce for the egg rolls is probably the only thing that really stood out, it was amazing. Another thing is the server didn’t bother to offer refills until we were ready to leave, and it seemed more of a way to ask us to leave rather than a genuine offer, “can I get you guys anything, some r
Try the coffee chicken! We also loved the beef spring rolls. Could have made a whole meal from the wonton soup. Really great service and welcoming vibes.
